Warranty Information

WARRANTY
GENERAL
All Maxtrix® merchandise is warranted by Maxwood Furniture, Inc. The warranty* is limited to defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential household use. Shipping and labor costs are the customers’ responsibility. Items or parts found to be defective will be repaired or replaced without charge. Any decision to repair or replace an item is at the sole discretion of Maxwood Furniture, Inc.

The warranty applies to what is considered to be normal household use and does not apply to purchases for resale, commercial, institutional or rental uses. Any damage that is a result of improper handling and any form of misuse, negligence, or accidents resulting in damage to the product is not covered under the Maxwood Furniture, Inc. warranty. The warranty is available only to the original purchaser who obtained the product from an authorized Maxwood Furniture, Inc. dealer or directly from Maxwood Furniture, Inc. The warranty is not valid for the purchase of floor models or “as is” products that were sold in a distress or going-out-of-business sale. Any modifications made to the product by the purchaser will void the warranty.

In order to utilize this warranty, the consumer is to report any damage or defect to the dealer (if purchased from an authorized dealer). If the product was purchased directly from Maxwood Furniture, Inc., the consumer is to report the claim to customercare@maxwoodfurniture.com. The customer is to provide the original sales purchase receipt, description of the reported issue and pictures documenting the said damage or defect to the product. Maxwood Furniture, Inc. will work directly with the authorized dealer to resolve all problems that are reported by the original purchaser unless the purchase was made directly from Maxwood Furniture, Inc. and this matter will be resolved with a Maxwood Furniture, Inc. associate through email correspondence.

Within one (1) year of the original purchase date Maxwood Furniture, Inc. will pay the expenses related to the transporting of merchandise for a warranty claim (this does not include packaging or labor cost). Any time a claim is reported after a year from the purchase date, all expenses related to packaging, labor and shipping of replacement damaged or defective parts will be the responsibility of the original purchaser.

BEDS & PARTS
At Maxwood Furniture, Inc. we stand behind the quality of our furniture and offer a five year (5) warranty on our products. Our warranty covers all main bed components which are utilized to create our bed system.

CASE GOODS
Case goods are covered under a one (1) year warranty. Case goods are defined as being bookcases, dressers, desks, hutches and bedside storage items. The one year warranty for Maxwood Furniture, Inc. case goods applies under the same standards as the five year warranty, with the sole difference being the longevity of the warranty.

FABRICS
The fabrics sold at Maxwood Furniture, Inc. do not carry warranty coverage.

MATTRESSES
Mattresses carry a ten (10) year prorated warranty which means that the value of the warranty will decrease by 10% with each year that passes from the original purchase date. After ten years, the mattress warranty expires.

Mattresses must be opened within one (1) month for the warrantee to apply. Ripping or damaging the tag or fire sock will void the warranty.

*Any product shipped outside the Continental U.S., the customer assumes complete responsibility and liability for damaged and/or defective products, including the cost of shipping.

GUARANTEE
GENERAL
When you buy Maxtrix®, you have our guarantee that we will keep manufacturing or stocking our bed components and leg kits you need to alter your bed, for at least 5 years after your first purchase. Our bed is part of a system! A great reason to purchase a Maxtrix® bed is because it can adapt to your child’s needs over time.

We will keep the dimensions and shapes of the beds and leg kits for a 5 year minimum after you have purchased your bed. We will continue to innovate and add great new ideas, designs and solutions so your choices will continue to expand and styles and finishes will stay up to date

Maxtrix® is dedicated to Kids. Our core value is safety. We will always stay committed to safety and quality in all we do. Any new products or improvements to existing products will go through several 3rd party accredited testing laboratories as well as through our own established rigorous testing protocols and we will ensure we only sell products that have 3rd party approved certifications passing all mandatory tests.

GROUND SHIPPING

Shop with ease at Tots to Teens, where we ship small items via UPS or FedEx for your convenience. You'll receive a purchase confirmation email immediately after placing your order. Once your item is shipped, we'll send you a follow-up email with the tracking number. If there is a delay, we will notify you by mail or email.

LTL & FREIGHT SHIPPING

Get big items delivered straight to your curbside with our nationwide LTL & Freight Shipping option! While we can't ship hefty purchases with our regular ground shipping, we'll make sure they're dropped off right outside your home. Please note that it's up to you to lift and bring the item inside, so plan accordingly as it might take more than one person to handle a heavy load off the truck.

 

Before the delivery date, the shipping company will call you to schedule a time. Typically, this will be on weekdays during normal office hours and will fall within a 2-to-4-hour period. However, please make yourself available for the entire day (8am to 5pm) to ensure a smooth delivery process. Ensure you're ready at the scheduled time and have enough manpower for the job. If you need assistance or must change the scheduled time, the shipping company may charge you for their extra services. Don’t miss out on your amazing purchase—prepare well and make sure you've got everything you need!

 

SHIPPING TIME FRAMES

Attention Tots to Teens customers! Please note that shipping times can vary depending on your location. Typical shipping time frames are:

 

  • LTL & Freight Shipping: 2-3 weeks from the shipped date for in-stock items.
  • Ground Shipping: 5-10 business days for in-stock items.

If a product is on backorder due to high demand, we'll notify you of its expected ship date via email. You can also check your order status anytime by contacting us. If an item is backordered, we'll notify you of the change and ship it immediately once it's available (unless you cancel).

To cancel an order, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for specific instructions. WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Experience ultimate customer satisfaction with our White Glove Delivery & Installation (WGD&I) service. We go above and beyond to ensure your purchases arrive on time and in pristine condition. Our professional installers will deliver your items to the room of your choice, unbox them, and set them up with great care.

 

But our service doesn't just end there. We also guarantee the removal of all packaging and debris from your furniture, leaving your home clean and clutter-free. Please note that you must be present to receive your delivery. Additionally, we do not offer returns or refunds following WGD&I.

 

Scheduling your WGD&I is easy and convenient. A Tots to Teens associate will work with you to find a suitable time that meets your schedule and ours. Our standard rate locally covers a 25-mile radius from our store location. For distances beyond 25 miles, there is an additional charge of $3.50 per each additional mile.

 

We offer White Glove Delivery & Installation in North Carolina only. For WGD&I outside of NC, please contact the store before making your purchase.

IN-STORE PICKUP

Skip the extra fees by using our in-store pickup option. Conveniently located near HWY 540 and Brier Creek in Raleigh, NC, simply wait for notification from a Tots to Teens associate that your items are available. From there, schedule a pickup time with a team member or give us an hour's notice if you can't schedule immediately. This guarantees a smooth and timely experience. When you arrive, you'll be asked to sign off on your items, ensuring you receive them in good condition.
